Rockin' 80's Soirée

You are invited to a fun evening in support of the Orchestra of Southern Utah.
Thanks to everyone donating items and participating in the Soirée.

Remember that Rock Gold excitement from last season? The Orchestra of Southern Utah's Soirée will celebrate 80's rock and roll on Wednesday, May 15, at the Heritage Theater lobby from 7 to 9 p.m. Tickets are now available at myosu.org.

Search your closet for vintage 80's clothes or dress like your favorite 80's character for the costume contest and get your voice ready to sing with the 8EEZ Band. This is a Karaoke opportunity with a live rock band.

You know the food will be good with catering by Al La Chelle.

Items are welcome for the Silent Auction. They can be dropped off at Whittlesticks, 111 South Main. Contact Jenifer Terry or Carylee Zwang for more information at carylee.zwang.osu@gmail.com. "We appreciate the generosity of our local artists and businesses who donate Silent Auction items," said Harold Shirley, OSU President. "The orchestra provides both concerts and music education to serve the community and we are grateful that the community helps keep the orchestra operational."

"We are excited to have a rockin' 80's party to help our orchestra," said Carylee Zwang, OSU Music Director. "We are excited to hear our patrons sing with the 8EEZ Band."

"Orchestras are an expensive project. Concert tickets do not pay for all of the building rental, music, equipment, and the other costs The Soirée helps fund the orchestra so we can keep ticket prices low," said Jenifer Terry, OSU Board Member.

Soirée tickets are $50.00 per person, $75.00 per couple, or $350.00 for a group of 8. This event helps support the Orchestra of Southern Utah in bringing live music performances to your area. Come and join in the fun.

8EEZ will perform 80's Rock and you will have the opportunity to sing with them.

Items will be updated as they are received.  This is just the beginning.
