A Joyful Noise: Instrument Drive and MLK Jr. Day Celebration

Thanks to everyone who participated in the program on Jan. 16, 2016 and a special thanks to those who have given instruments which we will get to schools for lower income students. We are excited to share our love of music with these students. We also had $160 donations to use for instrument repairs, 92 in attendance, and 24 pounds of food which has been delivered to Iron County Care and Share. Music supplies for both band and orchestra programs are also being donated. In addition to the items in photos we also got an electronic keyboard.  We had a great response to this project and it is very much appreciated. This service project was inspired by the 2017 MLK National Day of Service under UServeUtah.  OSU and community donations have made the project possible.

Donated Instruments also included another trombone, student violin and keyboard.

More of the donated instruments.  Thanks so much for helping.
